Pitch Your Piece

As part of NIA’s mission, we seek to elevate writers from a wide range of backgrounds, including underrepresented communities. We publish freelance writers on a range of topics in nightlife, fashion, food, health, and events. If you would like to pitch a piece or request a writing assignment, please complete the information below.

Pointers:

Please distill your idea into a pitch, even if you have a full draft already written.

NIA accepts submissions where the writer benefits from our aligned interests in getting the information, perspective, and publicity to our audience. We also accept pitches where the writer is compensated monetarily in an amount that we feel is appropriate given the content selection, quality of the pitch, and experience or talent of the writer.
